On the edges of a picture frame box, my sister Megan wrote the following:

Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of all those things and still be calm in your heart.

It meant a lot because she wrote it when I was still in a job that was hard for me with so much stress, and I was in the midst of getting so ill with CFIDS.

Now looking back on it, it still means a lot, even though I’m in a different place.

I’m finally taking the box off, so I can put it on my wall. But I wanted to capture these words again before they weren’t attached anymore.
