Interesting article... The Myth of Perfect Web Design:

there is no such thing as perfect design, or a perfect solution on the Web.
Basically, the article explains how a "perfect" design is unrealistic, because your requirements for one form of perfect will probably conflict with another requirement - i.e. your beautiful rollover graphic menu might take too long to load for what you need.
