forshadowing and buffy
Buffy The Vampire Slayer is one of a very few shows on television that dare to delve into the thematic element of foreshadowing. And so this article acts as a handy dandy guide to my personal favorite usages of foreshadowing throughout the seven seasons of Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
I love reading about this stuff, as I was fascinated by the foreshadowing in the show. I see it in even smaller places "oh, so *that's* why they did such-and-such" on a frequent basis. Joss is amazing, I can’t hide my admiration!

Dude, what a cool article. I can’t wait to read it.
Did I tell you I found a bunch of Buffy scholarly books? There were some *fantastic articles. I can’t remember if I linked here or not, but let me know if you want the titles. I think you’d love them.

The comments on that Slayage article are interesting, too.
There are several scholarly Buffy books, it’s emerging as a subgenre itself. So far there’s philosophy and linguistics, and I’m pretty sure there are more books in the works.
