i want an e-donut!
How Krispy Kreme Uses New Tools For Old-Fashioned Doughnuts
... turns out the company is well known for embracing technology in their operations - but only if it’s designed to make the process of making or selling doughnuts better. As they say, their killer app is doughnuts, and everything else the company does has to support that.
Really interesting article about how technology is helping out the donut biz. I’m always interested in the management of a business and how technology helps the managers be smarter.
So now they just need to develop a way to get me a donut w/o me needing to drive 4 hours.

Ooh, a Krispy Kreme doughnut sounds really good. It’s not 4 hours away for me, but it is across town, which might as well be 4 hours when I don’t have the car. Maybe I can convince Matt to go there after work though. I can be persuasive when it comes to Krispy Kreme.

Kristine, I’m about to switch over to Moveable Type! No more Blogger frustrations! hehe My new URL is below, and I’m so excited!!!!! Anyway, my husband and I *love* Krispy Kreme. The closest one to us, unfortunately, is in Penn Station in NYC. *sigh* That’s 2.5 hours away. There used to be one right down the street from me in Indianapolis, IN, and believe me ~ we enjoyed that! But also, I wanted to say that you and my husband would get along SO well ... he is also interested in using technology to help businesses. He works as the assistant to the director of operations for a NY state government agency, and he’s also into computers, networking, Web design, etc. Take care, and have a great day!
