tv tears
My soaps were interupted by breaking news. Normally, I’d switch the channel, but I was in the middle of some other things, so I figured I’d just wait it out. The sentencing of Christian Longo was going on, and as they read each charge against him, I started to well up with tears. How could someone strangle his wife and children? And how did it take the court system so long to sentance him - they found the bodies back at Christmas of 2001. So by the time they were done, I was crying. I don’t really know why, but it was really emotional. The jury gave him a death sentance.
So then ATWT came back on, and Rosanna and Carly were being so nice to each other that it was very touching, and made me keep tearing up. I can’t wait to see the wedding tomorrow/friday whenever it is, and I really hope that they make it through the wedding before insano-Bar-bar gets out of her firey cabin.
Excuse me while I go wipe my eyes.
edited to add... - oh goodness, the woman who he killed’s sister just spoke and I started bawling again. I can’t imagine how I would feel if something like this happened to one of my sisters.

Oh my goodness...that’s horrible! I wonder what took them so long, sheesh!

Carly and Rosanna made me cry today, too. I hope it lasts for them. It would add a new dimension to the show to have them get along for awhile...
People like Christian Longo are evil, Kristine... there is just no other word or explanation... and it’s just so very sad for those who are left.

You’re the only person I know who watches soaps, so maybe you can help me. What on earth is Passions about? Today’s episode (I was interpreting in a hospital, and my patient watched it) made absolutely no sense to me...it seemed to be a series of mostly unrelated vignettes that were mostly surreal. What’s up with that?
