Hmmm. I just spent the last 1/2 hour on the phone with Sarah (my soon-to-be sister-in-law) trying to help her with her installation of Netzero. It first was thinking that a copy of it was still running even when it didn’t show up in the ctrl+alt+delete screen. And then it was also giving an error about Winsock 2.0 not being installed, which according to the Netzero’s help page is only an error that people using Win95 should have, and she’s using Win98. Blah. So I didn’t solve her problems, even after checking everything.

So I told her to bring the computer over tomorrow when I do her taxes and E will fix it :giggle: I’m so bad, lets hope E can figure it out!! smile If nothing else, we can plug it into the network and download the most recent netzero program for her smile I still feel bad I couldn’t fix it over the phone though!!

Troubleshooting remotely is the hardest thing to do. It’s even harder with non-technical people.
