late to work
I sat and waited and waited and waited for Lisa to pick me up. She had called between 12:30 and 12:45 to tell me that she needed to drive my car to get me (its at their house for now). Its no more than a 20 minute drive. She still hadn’t shown up by 1:15, so I called Annette. Still no Lisa anywhere. Waiting, waiting. 1:25, I called Annette again and we talked about work stuff for a few minutes because I wasn’t gonna make it here before she left.
There was a nasty accident out on the highway. Completely closed it, made everyone go THROUGH Camas, so it took Lisa 1.5 hours to come to my house and go back to town.
So its 2:10 and I’m finally at work. I can’t imagine that this will be a terribly productive day with only 2 hours to be here. Maaaaan!
