music good for soul
When my soul is tired
and I can’t find rest,
I turned to music
To calm me and to give me strength.
I have a mix of music on my desktop at work that I call the "Good for my Soul" mix. Its music that I can put on random and repeat and have on all day. I can hum along and keep it low enough that no one else can hear, and it makes my heart keep going even when things are hard.
Today and this week, its been very wonderful.
Many of these songs were found during the period of time when I was active in Silver Ingrid, a forum (created by myZalary-love) that made my heart so happy. I met some amazing women during that period of time, and they introduced me to some wonderful music. I have tried to stay in touch with these terrificly extraordinary silver ladies, but don’t talk to all of them as much as I wish I did.

Lots of great songs! Some forgotten, some new to me, I’ll be sure to check them out!
Sometimes a good blues-chick rock cd is the only thing that’ll get me out of a funk.
