Caritas shawl

caritas pdf screenshot.png

The Caritas is a rounded striped shawl pattern with a cozy privacy. It can wrap close to your neck for warmth or drape gently around your shoulders. The pattern features stockinette and garter borders allow you to completely cover up, without being a traditional lacy shawl. And large stripes of color allow you to pick several of your favorite sock yarn colorways to blend together.

Exciting techniques you'll learn:

  • top-down shawl design
  • knit and purl rows to form a unique ridge between the blocks
  • adding stitches in a nearly invisible fashion
  • working with multiple colors to create one cohesive color profile
